Terms of sale

Last updated: November 7, 2026

1. General

The MISOCI online shop is run by Beata Tkacz, a sole trader trading as ZENA BEATA TKACZ, Grabiec 80a, 42-445 Szczekociny, registered in the Polish business register CEIDG, NIP 6492195224, REGON 363223144, email info@misoci.com, phone +48 666 605 079 (“the Seller”).

These terms set out how the shop is used and how sales contracts are made and carried out. They are available free of charge before you order, in a form you can download, save and print.

A customer is the person or organisation placing an order. A consumer is an individual buying for purposes not directly related to their business or profession. Consumer provisions also apply, to the extent the law provides, to a sole trader whose contract is not of a professional nature for them.

2. Online services

The Seller provides free of charge: the journal configurator, the basket, the order form and, after verifying a phone number by SMS code, a view of your orders. These services last while you use them, and you can stop at any time.

Technical requirements: an internet-connected device, an up-to-date browser with JavaScript and cookies enabled, an email address and a Polish mobile number.

Submitting unlawful content or disrupting the shop is not allowed.

Complaints about the online services can be sent to info@misoci.com. We reply within 14 days.

3. Products and prices

Journals are handmade to order, to the configuration you choose (size, leather, cords, charms).

Photos and previews in the configurator are illustrative. Natural leather varies in shade, grain and texture, and every journal is unique.

Prices are in Polish złoty and include VAT. The delivery cost is shown before you order, and the total is shown before payment.

4. Ordering and the contract

To order, you configure a journal, add it to the basket, enter your contact and delivery details, choose a delivery method, confirm that the product is made to your specification, and proceed to payment using the button marked as an order with an obligation to pay.

The sales contract is made when you receive the email confirming that your paid order has been accepted. The confirmation includes the order number, your configuration and the amount paid.

We reserve the materials while you pay (15 minutes). An order not paid in that time expires and no contract is made.

5. Payment

Payment is made in advance, online, through PayU S.A. of Poznań (ul. Grunwaldzka 186, 60-166 Poznań), a Polish payment institution supervised by the Polish Financial Supervision Authority. After clicking “Order and pay” you are taken to PayU’s page to choose a payment method (such as BLIK, an instant bank transfer or a card).

If you enter a NIP and company name in the order form, we issue an invoice.

Details: Delivery and payment.

6. Making and delivery

Making a journal takes 1 working day from receipt of payment. We then ship it within Poland to the InPost locker you chose or by courier, and email you a tracking link.

The shop sells for delivery within Poland only. Ordering requires an email address and a Polish mobile number.

Details and costs: Delivery and payment.

7. Right of withdrawal

Journals are made to the customer’s specification to meet their individual needs. Under Article 38(1)(3) of the Polish Consumer Rights Act of 30 May 2014, a consumer has no right to withdraw from such a distance contract. You confirm this when ordering.

Products not made to the customer’s specification (non-personalised products) can be returned by a consumer without giving a reason, by withdrawing from the contract within 14 days of receiving them. The rules, return address and model form: Returns and complaints.

This does not limit your rights if the goods do not conform to the contract: Returns and complaints.

8. Complaints

Towards consumers, the Seller is liable under the Consumer Rights Act for any lack of conformity that exists at delivery and becomes apparent within two years. Towards other customers, liability follows the warranty (rękojmia) provisions of the Civil Code.

Complaints can be sent by email to info@misoci.com. We reply within 14 days. A journal under complaint is sent back to: Grabiec 80a, 42-445 Szczekociny; the Seller covers the return postage. Details: Returns and complaints.

8a. Guarantee

The journals are covered by the Seller’s statutory 2-year liability for conformity with the contract, described in section 8. The Seller gives no additional commercial guarantee.

9. Out-of-court dispute resolution

Consumers may use out-of-court complaint and redress procedures, such as mediation by the regional Trade Inspection (Inspekcja Handlowa) or help from a municipal or district consumer ombudsman. Information is available from the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection (uokik.gov.pl). Taking part is voluntary.

10. Personal data

How we process personal data is described in the Privacy policy, and how we use cookies in the Cookie policy.

11. Final provisions

Contracts are governed by Polish law. These terms do not exclude or limit consumer rights under mandatory law.

Changes to these terms do not affect orders placed before they take effect.

The Polish version of these terms is binding; this English version is for information.
